Integrative HealthCare
Treating Mind, Body, and Spirit
I endorse the belief that “nutrition is the missing link to mental health” and mental health is the missing link to medical care. The mind-body connection of illness and disease has been extensively researched. Hailed as the “Father of Medicine,” Hippocrates insightfully proclaimed, “let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.” There is a direct correlation between mood and food. As a psychotherapist, the primary treatment modalities that I utilize are Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Ms Olivier and I met to form a collaborative team to provide holistic care to our clients that treat the mind and body as one, as it was always intended to be treated, as emphasized by the "father of medicine", Hippocrates. Together we will provide the care our clients need and deserve as professionals in our field.
My colleague, The Unconventional Dietitian, and I started a series of calls to help us move through the physical and mental wellness challenges of our current times. We will be hosting these calls every Friday on Zoom. These calls are FREE and open to anyone. During these calls we will be addressing:
*Note: The 1st 60 minutes are recorded so if you would like to remain private, turn off your camera and type in an alias or just your initial. The final 30 minutes we stop recording so everyone feels comfortable for the Q&A part of the call. This is a public offering so anyone and everyone are welcome to join. *Note: You may need to download the ZOOM app to view these webinars and can do so here. |

Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner

Daphne Olivier , RD, LDN, CDE, CLT, IFNCP
I’m a South Louisiana gal raised on “yes ma’ams,” potluck suppers, and sweet tea. I’ve found my love working with people who, just like you, are transforming their old habits and staying committed to finding what foods work for them. I want to help you land butter side up on your journey to be the very best you.
My road has been long and winding, peppered with lots of questions and research to get to the clear understanding of how to use food as information for the body.
I have a BS in Dietetics from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and completed my internship working with the beloved veterans of our country. Since then I’ve run hospital cafeterias, implemented worksite wellness campaigns, nourished loved ones who were in ICU, rehabbed people after major heart surgery or vehicle accidents, loved on grandmas and grandpas in the nursing home, and taught children how to prepare nourishing food for themselves.
I have recently completed a certification to become Louisiana’s first and only Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner, which gives me the tools to help you get to the root of the challenges that ail you.
